ACHIEVEMENTS
A round of applause to Stiaan who managed not one but two of the possible five finalist entries in the Weylandts and Elle Decoration 'Solve New Talent Search' design competition for his inspired standing lamp designs, featured in Issue 65 of Elle Decoration Magazine.
We are also proud to announce that both Stiaan and Marcel respectively entered winning entries in the Roland 'Wrap 2 The Max' vehicle branding competition and each received a brand new MacBook Pro for their efforts. You can view the winning designs in our portfolio section.

The latest addition to our family is no exception and we are delighted to announce the occasion... Welcome to Cape Town based video editor Jaco Laübscher. Jaco has extensive experience in the film industry and has worked on some exciting projects including music videos for high profile South African artists like Louise Carver and award winning shows, the latest being the highly acclaimed tv series 'Shoreline'. DTI CONTRACTS AWARDED
We are pleased to announce that as a result of consistent and professional ongoing services rendered to Cipro, KarbonBlack Creative has been awarded the contract to design and manage the corporate identity and other collateral media for devisions in the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti)... The day has finally arrived! KarbonBlack Creative celebrates the launch of our new website as
part of our rebranding strategy. The new look is scheduled for updates on a weekly basis and new

WEBSITE LAUNCH: CLOVER CREAM
At approximately 3pm today the new Clover Cream website was officially launched (www.addlove.co.za).
The website forms part of a campaign to promote Clover's range of cream products that boasts brand new packaging. The campaign involved the creation of a recipe book featuring unique recipes
made with Clover cream and the book is showcased inside an online virtual kitchen alongside other interactive elements.

KARBONBLACK FEATURED AT CENTENARY DESIGN EXHIBITION
Between 12 and 24 May 2008, KarbonBlack Creative was privileged enough
to exhibit a selection of work at the centenary celebrations of the University of Pretoria.
The exhibition, titled X-ings:
Shaping culture through design, included close to 110 Information Design alumni and
lecturers of the Department of Visual Arts. The featured work spanned across categories such
as advertising, branding, design for development, illustration, motion graphics, packaging and
display design. The exhibition celebrated designers who have played a role in the social, cultural
and economic development both locally and internationally since the late 1960's.
